Private Tuition
One-to-one, corporate and small group sessions in both Yoga and Pilates are available on request. These can take place either from home or studio space can be arranged to your convenience.
Private tuition allows time to gradually build confidence and strength so you can practice comfortably both independently and in class. It is an effective way of progressing quickly, helping you deepen your practice that can then be enhanced by group classes.
Yoga
One-to-one yoga sessions are ideal for those who wish to create a more personal routine. I am able to devote my undivided attention to your unique yoga practice, giving you time to receive and digest all the adjustments and direction you need.
We will delve deeper into the postures or create alternative postures to accommodate your physical ability. Together we create a routine based your physical capability allowing you to grow further in your practice. Every session is tailor made for your individual requirements be it a rigorous work out, relaxation or a combination of the two. We can focus in greater detail on breath, strength, focus and alignment creating a practice that suits the demands and issues in your life at any given time.
Pilates
Since Pilates focuses on the stabilising muscles of the body, a one-on-one interaction ensures you are using the correct muscle groups, increasing body awareness and maximising your progress and potential.
Physiotherapists often recommend Pilates for rehabilitation after injury and private tuition is the most effective means of doing this.
